User Data Deletion & Privacy Controls

Any individual whose personal data has been processed by AsanConnect communication services (such as mobile numbers used for WhatsApp alerts or OTP notifications) may submit a deletion request.

Upon verification of ownership, AsanConnect will delete or irreversibly anonymize:

• Account contact attributes (name, work email, phone number).
• Transient OTP hashes and delivery records.
• Marketing notification preferences and broadcast subscriber lists.
• Customer chat session metadata not bound by active regulatory disputes.

Under the laws of India, including guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and financial accounting mandates governing parent company AsanPay Innovation Pvt. Ltd., certain transactional records, domestic money transfer audit logs, and fraud prevention data must be retained for the minimum statutory period (typically 5 to 8 years).

Where legal retention is mandated, personal identification will be isolated and restricted from any active marketing or operational use.

Message contents are delivered in transit via Meta Cloud API end-to-end infrastructure and are never published on our public website. Backend message IDs and delivery statuses are expunged automatically according to our 90-day rolling data lifecycle.
